Maven's 3rd Birthday Party

If it’s possible for a person to be dubbed King of Birthdays, Maven Davis is currently wearing, protecting and absolutely owning the crown.  At only 3 years old, his birthday party aptly nicknamed “Maven’s LegoLand” was full of more excitement, adventure and toddler-sized bounce houses than you can imagine.

The big day was hosted by J. Divine Events, and they wanted to ensure that not only the young ones enjoyed themselves, but that their accompanying parents did too. While the kids imagined and built Lego creations downstairs, the adults relaxed in an upstairs loft – complete with freshly prepared drinks and entertainment. But that’s only part of what made Maven’s party special. With the idea of Lego and innovation at the forefront, his friends were able to explore and build their very own masterpieces with “Maven’s Build Station.” This party didn’t simply serve as a function of fun; it was designed to encourage and stimulate creativity in young, growing minds.

The venue was decorated in classic, bright hues of red, blue, yellow and green, all of which coordinated with Maven’s Lego theme as well as his outfit of the day. The Birthday Boy wore a Lego Man tee shirt, slim fit jeans, Jordans and a fitting polka dot bowtie. With hand-built sculptures and furniture, balloons and initial blocks, the venue looked great, and little Maven looked even greater.

Chef Razia Burton, a celebrated cook who’s been featured on the Food Network, catered the event. Guests enjoyed perfectly sized dishes like turkey burger sliders, miniature pizzas, parmesan popcorn chicken and mac-and-cheese. And because everyone deserves a sweet treat on their birthday, Maven’s birthday cake was specially made. His cake featured three delectable tiers of goodness: the first layer was German chocolate cake, the second layer was buttercream, and the bottom layer was red velvet – just enough tastiness to keep everyone amped for Legos!

The overall ambience set the tone for a birthday party well done – from the face painting to the playing to the partying. Point is, Maven of Atlanta knows how to enjoy a birthday. All, please hail this young King.
