The theme for Peyton’s second birthday party came organically. She was born at only 6 months and had to endure the NICU and heart surgery – something a baby should never have to face. But because Peyton is a warrior, she’s prevailed and then some. She’s strong, and she’s bold, and naturally, her Enchanted Garden perfectly represented that truth.
Her parents fused elements of adventure, the outdoors, and just a little magic to make the party special. The venue was decorated in vibrant hues of pinks, purples, yellows, and blues, and the mission was to create a complete experience for the guests. Vintage lanterns and wood slabs also added to the rustic vibe. They wanted people to truly feel like they were in an enchanted land. As a party favor, girls even took home their own fairy wings, wands, flower crowns, and gardening aprons to keep that feeling alive.
Throughout the party, children played and sang along to a personalized party playlist. The nursery rhymes kept everyone calm! The menu consisted of a kid-friendly taco bar with chicken, beef, rice, beans, and salsa. The dessert spread was also kid-friendly and fun. There was a cake with edible butterflies, cookies, powdered donuts, and even “dirt” cups with gummy worms inside.
Peyton wore head-to-toe denim with a gold tu-tu, pink fairy wings, and a handmade flower crown to polish her look. Her birthday party was the dream of toddlers everywhere – complete with a much-needed nap at the end of the day.
