What was the reason for the celebration?
This was our engagement shoot to celebrate and capture our love story for our upcoming wedding. We meet through mutual friends. Our friends decided to play matchmakers and thought we would be perfect for each other. There was a little hesitation from both of us because it actually took 3 months for us to meet. Once we finally meet, we both realized what we were both missing was each other. Fast forward 10 years later, through troubles and tribulations, our love manage to overcome all obstacles and we are looking forward to forever.

What is something fun you remembered either about the process or the big day?
This shoot was absolutely amazing! We incorporated some amazing looks thanks to our photographer Dominque from DLC Innovation. Our video was super sexy, the car, the location everything was beyond what I envision. It was absolutely fun doing the shoot!

Tell us about the proposal.
Rodny proposed to me on my 30th birthday on the beautiful island of Jamaica. It was Saturday, July 13, 2019, Rodny made dinner reservations on the beach at sunset. It was a beautiful candlelight dinner as the sun was setting on the sand right next to the water. Rodny stood up and asked me to hand the waiter my phone and put it on record, I knew then what he was up to. Rodny got on his knees, confessed his love through the years, he even said he practiced a speech for weeks, and forgot all the words. He was so nervous, but it was perfect because he asked me to be his wife and everything he said came from his heart. As I was crying he was placing the rock on my finger and I said YES! Our dinner came out and we couldn’t even enjoy our dinner we were both so emotional. It was the most perfect night that I will never forget.

On our wedding day, we will be celebrating every woman with a red rose that attends the wedding. It will not only be a room filled with red roses of love, but a true valentines experience that our guest will love.

My experience with this shoot is beyond words. My photographer Dominque captured our love, our style it was perfect and we will have these beautiful memories forever!
