What is something fun you remembered either about the process or the big day?
Working with Melisa (our event planner) was so much fun. Everything from start to finish was absolutely magical. One of the funniest parts of the event was when my husband Bryan insisted that guests enter the room to the theme song of the show POWER!

Anything super unique about the big day?
I would definitely say the decor along with the entertainment which were a DJ and cigar roller with the games gave the event a true upscale luxury experience for our distinguished guest.

Any tips you would share with others planning an event?
Call Melisa LoL! Seriously she is absolutely a joy to work with. The planning process was fun and easy.

Definitely guest management – less is more for this type of shower. This was a destination baby shower as guests came from everywhere.

What was your planning experience like?
We hired a planner. During the process, I not only hired a planner but I also establish a long term relationship and friendship with Melisa. Melisa came to us a referral from a friend and it was the best decision we have ever made. Melisa covered all the major and minor details. Melisa was never afraid to say no, but through it all, it was an amazing experience and masterpiece. I don’t know what we would have done without her. My husband already has plans for her for his upcoming birthday celebration and all future events. She stuck with us for life.

The Location
The location was the Fontainbleau Miami Hotel. Why the Fontainebleau? It was the history behind the Fontainbleau for us! We fell in love at the hotel and got married there. We then decided to keep the tradition going by celebrating our baby boy Bryce’s arrival here.

You Event Style
What inspired your theme/style?
Being OCD and wanted the pictures to turn out perfect without a wide variety of colors everywhere. Decided to have all my guest wear white and blue to match the decor.

Party Details
What inspired your party style?
Our decor and style was a shared vision between Melisa and I. We came up with a vision that we were over the moon with. I saw the moon and had to have it. Stretch the budget just to have our dream vision come to life and it was worth it.

Describe your cake/desserts.
Oh, the cake was to die for. The flavors of the cake were lemon blueberry & dulce de leche. We decided on a 2 tier cake in blue with decor elements such as macaroons, stars, and a moon on top.
