She’s the queen of reality TV, so it’s only right that she have a fabulous soirees to celebrate her 50th Birthday. Guest of Honor Mona Scott Young is a huge fan of black and white, so Primrose Couture Events decided to use a black tie gala as inspiration behind her intimate dinner party.

“I wanted black and a lot of bling, to really display my love for all things chic and fabulous.” Mona said. “To brand the party I created the #50shadesoffab hashtag. Guests loved it and it really helped to set the tone for the evening.”

The bling elements were carried out throughout the party with beautiful custom bling wine bottles that sat atop the black shimmer linens. Helping to highlight the details even more were the clear mirage chairs that allowed the pops of color really stand out. This beautiful dinner created the perfect setting for guests to be able to love and shower the lady of the hour. But little did guests know that something this gorgeous was planned in less than 48hrs!

“I had exactly two days to design and coordinate this birthday fete,” planner Primrose Couture Events said. “This party was a true testament to why I’ve always stressed to my team that it’s important to stay in good standing with your vendors, because you never know when you will need them. With the help of so many amazing vendors we were able to pull off beautiful celebration for a woman who is simply beautiful inside and out.”
