Planning a Wedding on a Budget Workshop

Let’s face it. Planning a wedding can be hard, especially if you are working on a tight budget! However, the “With Love Workshop” helped couples in the Twin Cities area start their planning process on the right foot. The first series of the workshop was “Money Talk.”

“The emphasis on this discussion was how to create an ideal budget along with tips and tricks to consider when planning a wedding,” said Faith Folayan, an event designer with This Love Weddings. The workshop gave newly engaged couples ideas on where to best spend their money. Each attendee received a budget workbook that included guidance and a budget worksheet.

Just because it was a learning experience did not mean couples could not walk away with some ideas for their own big day!

“Attendees enjoyed brunch bites from Klassics Catering and mimosas at the workshop as a way to showcase the possibility of planning a playful mid-day wedding with a brunch option instead of dinner. Brunch wedding receptions are a popular option for couples looking to throw a budget savvy bash,” Folayan said. “Guests were welcomed with a delicious dessert spread (hello, donut wall) from Sugarspoon Desserts and gorgeous Spring floral designed by Studio Emme.”
