This year the planner’s suite conference was a intimate fireside dinner, which included thirty VIP attendees, and some of the industry’s top event professionals. Wanting to know more about this VIP event, we were able to get answers to the many questions we were dying to ask!

What was the reason for the celebration?

The Planners Suite Conference hosts a fireside chat with our VIP attendees for each of our events. This year, we wanted to take it up a notch and present a more intimate environment for our guests to enjoy while hearing sound advice from the event industry’s top professionals.

Any tips you would share with others planning an event?

The main tip for pulling off any event is to have the support of an outstanding cast of vendors. Communication and trust are paramount to securing the look and feel your are trying to achieve.

Where was the Location?

The Sky Ballroom within the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown was the perfect backdrop of our event. The skyline naturally enhanced the space giving our guests a modern and executive level feel.

What inspired your theme/style?

The overall theme for The Planners Suite 2018 was the Emerald City of the Wizard of Oz. We wanted to the VIP Fireside Dinner to embody both the whimsical quality of the film (places vintage style parchment in champagne glasses instead of the typical place cards) still maintaining a luxury and glamour of the city (black satin tablecloth and lush floral structures).
