You’ve heard the saying, “Home is where the heart is,” and with a saying that couldn’t be more true for The Spitale’s they knew that their beautiful home would be the perfect setting for their fall nuptials, and boy was it stunning! Breanna Renee of ellyB Events and Andy Beach of Andy Beach Designs, created an intimate atmosphere that allowed the couple to incorporated various parts of their newly renovated backyard.
“It was very important for us to enhance the beauty that already existed in the space and for us to use every inch of the backyard that we could,” bride Erica Spitale said. “When Dan and I moved into our home, one of the first projects was overhauling and designing our backyard to create our own private oasis. So naturally we picked our home as our wedding location because it truly signified how far we’d come in life and as a couple”
Using a color scheme for blush, gold, and rose gold the design team created a “Garden Glam” setting that featured a gold acrylic welcome sign, blush curtains, hundreds of string lights and boxwood hedges that served as the entrance to the light room, antique silver mirrored tables, cartier gold chairs, and lucite centerpieces with glass vases that featured an ombre design of roses.
While the decor was stunning, The Spitales wanted to make sure that the food was just as amazing. During cocktail hour guests indulged in shrimp and grits, crab cakes, chicken and waffle bites and adult grilled cheese bites.
“Since 99% of our guests were from out of town and the Midwest area we decided to serve southern-inspired food so they could experience that tastes and flavors of the south,” said Erica. “Dinner was buffet style and consisted of a mixed greens salad, sweet water Georgia brown short ribs, roasted chicken, smoked gouda mac and cheese, southern style green beans, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and mini corn muffins.”
With a menu such as this and a beautiful garden glam setting guests were able to witness and beautiful and personal wedding ceremony that ended with an intimate way to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Spitale.
