Concept
The concept of this styled shoot was to show the talents of various vendors from the event industry who do amazing work; however, may not get much of the spotlight. I am also a huge fan of intimate events and using some non-traditional items to create something amazing. The must-haves were simple and elegant, a non-traditional wedding dress, an average size/plus-size model, and natural hair.

Theme, color palette?
The theme was Simple Elegance using white with gold and black accents to complete the beautiful venue.

Anything super unique or fun about the shoot?
It was exciting to work with these vendors! I have worked with each of these vendors individually; however, never collectively. It was amazing and honestly easy working with these vendors, we set up in record time (the venue owner was thoroughly impressed). There were some new connections made, which made me proud to be a part of. We had an opportunity to showcase a new venue, and I am all for supporting local businesses.

How were the fashion details chosen?
The dress was chosen to complement the model’s hairstyle and to allow the model’s personality to shine. The fashion had to fit the theme, simple yet elegant. The dress took a long time to discover; however, when the dress was found, we knew it was the one.
