What is something fun you remembered either about the process or the big day?
The connection between the real life couple models was perfect. We were able to portray their love and affection.

Anything super unique about the big day?
We loved playing with elements from Africa / Black panther and Moroccan/neutral vibe.

The Basics
What was your planning experience like?
Le Coeur Bohème was the planner and stylist for the shoot. They created the concept and brought it all to life with the help of an amazing team of vendors!

The Location
We picked the space for its industrial feel. We loved the mix of elements such as wood and metal, and the black accent wall was a cool feature.

How did you pick your event day outfit?
The dress was the best part of the shoot; we absolutely loved the lace and tulle gown with beautiful raw edge bell sleeves! And that neckline…..

For the groom we picked out a traditional african tunic in dark brown to match the overall palette.

You Event Style
What inspired your theme/style?
We wanted to stay neutral and play with linen, off white, wood, and marble. We did not have an accent color. We wanted to do something unique and different playing with a Moroccan feel, but with an African vibe. It was important for us because our real-life couple is African and we wanted to make sure we represented them.

Party Details
What inspired your party style?
We wanted to stay neutral and play with wheat, off white, not a lot of greenery but grasses and dried plants instead (Service rose bonbons). We love the idea of assorted bottles, vases, and candles to create a high-low setting.

Describe your cake/desserts.
The custom laser cut african continent cake topper was the piece de resistance. Sucre brun created an amazing assortment of sweets and played with caramel topping.
