Inspired by starting with a blank canvas , it was important that theme of this photo-shoot maintained a clean , yet edgy look. White elements, and sophistication made this photo shoot snatch out attention and we just had to know more! So of course we asked the planner about this all white shoot!

Concept
Inspired by a Dallas-based artist, the inspiration for this shoot came from the idea of an artist’s blank canvas. Initially, it is clean and all white, then slowly becomes filled with textures and a distinctive beauty.

Theme, color palette?
I wanted to design something clean, yet edgy, while still holding a high level of sophistication. The idea of white elements mixed with acrylic, glass, and other untraditional details was something I really wanted to portray throughout the shoot. I mixed pieces that wouldn’t normally be paired, but that would still look amazing together!

Anything super unique or fun about the shoot?
Some of my favorite details were those that incorporated actual artists and art. The dry ice based cocktail put a twist on a typical pina colada, and the cotton candy flavors were all named for admired artists, from Basquiat Bubblegum to Rembrandt Raspberry Rose’. Also, the cake sitting on the acrylic column with the art from the venue’s bar created a floating illusion that I thought was really beautiful and wanted to highlight. The vellum invitations, textured rsvp cards, acrylic escort cards and place cards, were a fun way to incorporate the acrylic and mixture of textures as well!

How were the fashion details chosen?
I fell in love with the details in the boned bodice, lace appliques, and French lace train of the Made With Love gown! It was the perfect choice for her, modern, yet still so delicate. She wore a draping headpiece that I loved because it highlighted her gorgeous wavy hair! Fifi Testfatsion created a makeup look that was natural, yet stunning. The goal was an overall effortless look, that was as beautiful as it was simple, and we nailed it!
