Ashlee Hamon Photography is a boutique studio that specializes in vibrant weddings and portraiture. Owner and fine artist Ashlee Hamon is passionate about telling your story in full color. She is based out of Tampa FL but regularly travels for destination weddings world wide.

My best friend and the love of my life Joe proposed to me at Shaky Knees in May 2019. Then we said I DO at The Acre in Orlando on 3-1-20 and headed off to Park City UT for a snowy honeymoon!

Ashlee Hamon
I believe everything comes from within, to be shared and that there is nothing more important than love. I am passionate about visually communicating your adventure, your love story, what and who you love most. I am a realizer of dreams.
I grew up here in Tampa, the oldest of 3 children, one of whom is mentally disabled and currently healthy with a stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis. I was always a nerdy "A" student and an athlete, participating in obscure sports like synchronized swimming and collegiate women's crew. I went on to graduate from UCF with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. GO KNIGHTS! After graduation, I went around the world for a year before starting my business full time. I’ve traveled to Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, England, Wales, Czech Republic, Hungary, Iceland, Bali, Chile, Hawaii, and Turks & Caicos. On my wish list is New Zealand, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Croatia, and Madagascar.

I was absolutely blown away by Ashlee’s incredible skill as a photographer, expertise as a savvy wedding professional and business woman, and her kindness and support amidst the stress of wedding planning. Ashlee has a truly unique eye and her work achieves an amazing balance of being both classic and fresh. Not only do I lovingly look at our pictures on a daily basis, but EVERYONE (friends, family, vendors — my musicians and caterers even emailed me to tell me how beautiful our pictures were) has been mesmerized by our wedding album, which is a fabulous combination of candids and stunning portraits that perfectly captured my family’s personality. A friend of mine said it best when she remarked “Wow, what wedding magazine is that from?!” when she spied one of our pictures. “Worth every penny” is an understatement.
Above and beyond the amazing end product, Ashlee knows everyone worth knowing in the local wedding scene and was a lifesaver when I was at my wit’s end to find a makeup artist on short notice. I felt like she had my back throughout my wedding planning process (and literally, on my wedding day, when she helped bustle my dress), and when you’re frazzled from your wedding there is literally nothing better than having someone on your side who legitimately cares about the success of your big day. Round 1: Five years ago I made one of my best decisions in trusting Ashlee with capturing our (first) most important moments. During our first conversation, something clicked and I knew she was the right match. Everyone at our wedding fell in love with her kind, low key approach. Within days of our wedding we received our sneak peek and I vividly remember tears immediately streaming down my face. I had no idea it was possible for a photographer to catch the moments she captured. I felt like I was actually able to experience my wedding all
over again and from view points I never thought I would be able to see. I love my husband, but he is the biggest pain when it comes to taking pictures. Ashlee was able to get him to pose and capture beautiful candid shots. He still talks about how painless it was!!
Round 2: As soon as I decided I wanted maternity pictures, I KNEW I had to travel back to FL to have Ashlee take our photos. Again, balling when we received the sneak peek. She made me feel and look absolutely beautiful and showcased my growing body with her artistic eye.
Round 3: Lastly, my daughter’s first birthday and family pictures. I had scheduled my daughter’s first birthday pictures in Ohio but due to Covid they were cancelled. We waited a couple months and returned for the 3rd time to take the pictures on the same beach we were married and did our maternity pictures. It was truly a dream come true.
