Good at wearing multiple hats, Hermela is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. As a planner, she specializes in customer service that nurtures positive, productive relationships with both clients and vendors. Hermela advances her clients’ mission by making the most of their weddings experiences, while minimizing cost.
Hermela is married with 2 daughters. She enjoys food and wine pairings as well as travel, from weekend getaways to more adventurous trips anywhere in the world.

How do I even begin to write this review! Hermela literally saved my husband and I when it came to planning this wedding. We had no idea what we were doing!! When we started planning, we were looking at a lot of venues that were charging outrageous prices, and at the same time not giving us the wedding that we had envisioned and wanted to create. They left no room for creativity. After a few months of looking for a venue, we found one we loved. However, we had to find ALL of the vendors – as the venue was just providing the space. I knew we would have to hire a wedding planner. One night, I was on Instagram and stumbled upon an amazing wedding. It was beautiful, had style and so much energy. There, I found Hermela’s contact as she was the planner and immediately contacted her. She responded right away and explained her services and what she offered. We set up a face to face meeting within the next couple of weeks and I was sold! We started planning in January 2019 for a wedding that was on October 4th, 2019. Right away, Hermela provided wedding planning worksheets that focused on the budget, guest list, tasks, etc. Everything was so organized. She was also so understanding that Sean and I live in New York, so when we did come back to Boston my day would be filled with vendor meetings to make use of my time. She is always so efficient and makes great use of your time. In one day, we had a caterer and cake tasting, mock reception set up, and make up trial all in one day!
Hermela is, without a doubt, the best wedding planner out there!! She is detailed, thorough, and so great to work with. She is 100% invested in every wedding she works on and every bride she works with. Hermela will do whatever it takes to bring your vision to life or help you create the vision that will make your wedding day perfect. She has so many relationships with vendors in the Boston area and beyond and was able to get me amazing value for everything from flowers to rentals to an MC. She can work within any budget and is always looking for ways to get you more bang for your buck. Hermela is very aware of how stressful wedding planning can be, but keeps her cool and was always available to talk or to meet in person when I needed her. I had the most amazing wedding and wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. I would absolutely hire her again without a second thought!!!
