DJ Mark Battle was born Mark Adams in the busy streets of Brooklyn, NY. His early attraction to the sounds of the 70′s & 80′s was intensified each time he passed Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park to hear the local DJ’s spinning. After a long summer working hard to purchase his first professional DJ set, this naturally skilled music enthusiast became an accomplished turntabilist performing in hot New York City nightclubs by the age of 16.
For 10 consecutive years, DJ Mark Battle continued to perfect his craft and became one of the most sought after DJ’s in one of the largest and busiest cities in the world. After being married for 36 years my husband and I decided to renew our vows. It was our first wedding experience. DJ Battle made me glad we waited 36 years to do this special event, because 36 years ago we would not have had the “Best DJ” every!!! DJ Battle play list was well versed. My guests were partying from the moment they walked into the hall until the the staff kicked use out! My guest called, texted to tell me how they had a great time because the DJ was great.
Also, days before the event, DJ Battle called us to discuss our entrance song, father – daughter dance song and son – mothers song. He was very helpful and professional in making sure we were satisfied and that our guests had a great time! Thanks DJ Battle!

From the moment we sat down for dinner, DJ Battle kept our guests entertained. He knew the right songs to play and the perfect moment to get the party started. Perfect from beginning to end. Mark took the time to really get to know us and the flow we we were looking for on our special day. He was extremely respectful and professional and was very wise in giving us suggestions about what would work well. We had a Nigerian/American wedding with very different groups of people wanting very different things out of the evening and he did a fantastic job making both sides happy. You know it’s a good sign when even at dinner people are complimenting the DJ’s mix. When it came time for dancing the entire floor was packed for the entire reception – something I’ve never seen before at a wedding. We had to kick people off the dance floor so we could do the send-off. The uplighting he did for the space transformed it and took everything to a whole ‘nother level that took my guest’s breath away. To say we were very happy with Mark would be an understatement. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat and recommend all my friends to do the same – you won’t be disappointed!
No regrets at all! The music was so on point and kept the party going! We didn’t want it to end. I appreciate too that he played the clean/radio version of songs so our older/younger guest were all happy. We still have people saying the DJ was amazing! I agree. Value wise, definitely worth it. We expected him to charge way more, just based on who all he provides services too. I also appreciate his set up – it fit the venue very well and added to the class/chic atmosphere. We were able to rent our uplighting from him as well!
