Breah and Julian were all set to attend the annual Mardi Gras Ball, since it was Breah ‘s favorite time of the year. Little did she know what seemed like tradition, would turn into a lifetime commitment. Once the couple arrived to the ball, Julian took Breah’s breathe away by surprising her with family, friends, and a proposal of a lifetime. In true southern belle fashion , Breah hired planner Ashleigh , to help execute a traditional wedding that featured her favorite color purple and three-hundred beautiful guests. Making sure the wedding was planned to perfection, it was no surprise that it had a personalized theme, that included Breah’s soon to be last name , Grant. “Our hashtag was #AccessGRANTed, so very subtly we carried out the theme of a “key”. It was incorporated with our wedding party gifts and favors.” bride Breah said ” To keep with the theme of #AccessGRANTed , our wedding party entered the reception to DJ Khaled’s “I Got The Keys“. Making sure the groom was included ,the couple had two wedding cakes, one traditional vanilla and chocolate five tier cake and one bow tie, two tier, strawberry flavored cake, specifically made for the groom, that payed homage to his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha . The groom, Julian who is a music lover was very involved in choosing the music for the reception and making sure the guests had a band to entertain them during the cocktail hour. While the reception was decked out beautifully with candles, hydrangeas, roses and orchids. The guest tables were covered in sequins and linens that were in shades of platinum, purple and silver. The couples names were showcased on the wall in gobo lightening, as purple uplights lit the entire room. When asked what was their favorite element of the reception ,the couple said , it was their photo booth, that allowed them to capture their celebration with family and friends.
