Wedding: Alice and Frank

Every bride deserves to feel like a princess on her wedding day. This wedding day was a dream come true for both Alice and her groom, Frank!

We are swooning over Alice and Frank’s special day. It was a fairytale wedding with a gorgeous castle as their backdrop!

When they met on a street corner in New York City, the couple would never imagine that their dream wedding day would take place at Long Island’s stunning Hempstead House at the Sands Point Preserve. The Hempstead House is castle-like venue that is unique and exquisite and it was right in line with what the couple wanted for their big day!

From the moment the design process started, Alice knew she wanted an “enchanted garden” theme, filled with beautiful and classy, red roses. She also wanted dramatic and romantic details spread throughout the event.

For the ceremony, the couple and their planner decided to utilize a rarely used room in the castle to fit their intimate nuptials. A string quartet played sweet songs while the entire bridal party, and the bride and her father walked down the aisle for a beautiful and very personal ceremony.
After the “I do’s” the couple really wanted to enjoy their time with their friends and family, and also encouraged their guests to admire the beautiful castle and the grounds. The cocktail hour took place outside on the waterfront lawn of the castle, where guests mingled over great food and signature drinks, engaged in a great cigar “smoke” and even listened to a heavy metal performance from the string quartet!

Once the reception started, guests were welcomed by an inviting lounge area where they found their seating assignment on a beautifully hand-written victorian mirror. Other details included a beautiful photo opp station with a luxurious red chaise and beautiful Ayn Rand quote backdrop. There were beautifully landscaped tables adorned with luscious red roses. There was also a romantic fountain beautifully lit with candles in the middle of the dance floor.

Throughout the evening, the couple wanted to dance and have fun, and the DJ rocked the floor the whole night. And in true romantic fashion, at the end of the evening, the bride tossed her bouquet, the couple ran into their getaway car, and off they drove into the wind. We love your photos, Alice and Frank!

Congratulations!
